Like the previous reviewer said, I have my antenna near a window. I live about 20 miles out of the Cleveland area. I picked up 17 channels on the first scan with the antenna right out of the box (no adjustments). Works much better than I expected. Very pleased.

I bought this Phillips to save the monthly TV cable charge($ in a year) and because it worked i already cancelled my cable TV!. It took me 10 minutes setup. I have it by the window oriented to the location that antenna.org indicates. I catch Channel 4 to 58 (CBS #2 just when i move the antenna further)i didnt believe the picture quality!. I put 4 starts because is needed to extend full the "ears" to get the signal and CBS with difficulty. -- Check first if in ur location u receive signal from one area (my case) or many differents, also the distance in miles and obstacles before you choose any indoor antenna--im at 30 miles and it works! ;-)
